This local chapter of the North Carolina Beekeepers Association meets at 7:00pm every third Monday of each month at the Catawba County Agricultural Resources Center, 1175 S. Brady Avenue, Newton, North Carolina.
CVBA educates its members and the general public in the art and science of beekeeping. Educational programs on beekeeping are given during each meeting and beekeeping schools and demonstrations are sponsored annually. The Catawba Valley Beekeepers actively promote beekeeping in the local school systems and offer educational programs in the classroom and during local environmental education events.
