Zinnias make a great additions to any summer bouquets. They’re easy to grow and comes in lots of colors. Join us as we learn about varieties for cut flowers.

Interested in learning more about growing cut flowers? Want to know how you can incorporate cut flowers into your current farm business? Come join us in learning about varieties best suited for cut flowers and how to grow them. Other topics include harvest and post harvest handling, marketing, and a tour to a local cut flower farm. Deadline to register has been push back to March 3rd, 2016. The workshop is on Tuesday March 8th, 2016 in the Agricultural Resource Building Meeting Room B from 9:00am till 12:00pm. A portion of the program will be outdoors so please dress accordingly for outdoor weather.
