Intro to Martial Arts for Summer
An introduction to Martial Arts will be offered as a 4-H summer healthy living workshop. Four session program on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. from June 10- July 1, 2020. Learn some basic moves, stances, and strikes that can be used as self-defense. Learn how martial arts are part of healthy living and how it can help your concentration, energy levels, and stress management.
This introductory program is for ages 9-16, but parent involvement is welcome. Families that kick together, stick together! Instructor: George Place, with 25 years martial arts experience.
It is not necessary to be in 4-H to participate, but youth will need to complete forms required by NC 4-H. Register using Eventbrite.
