If you currently hold a private pesticide applicator’s license and are due for recertification in 2022, then check below for our schedule of upcoming events throughout the spring and summer. Remember that your credits are due by September 30th of this year so don’t wait until the last minute! Private applicator’s need two hours each of ‘V’ (safety) and ‘X’ (specialty) subcategories. Registration for the classes in Haywood County is not required.

All classes offered in Haywood County will be held at the Extension Office: 589 Raccoon Road, Waynesville.

Tuesday, May 10th from 6-8p (2 hours of ‘V’ offered)

Thursday, July 21st from 10a-12p (2 hours of ‘V’ offered)

Please note that July 21st is also the Field Day event at the Test Farm (across the street from the Extension office) and you can receive 2 hours of ‘X’ credit that afternoon. The event starts at 1:30p.

Friday, August 26th from 9-11a (2 hours of ‘V’ offered)
