Get your garden ready for the growing season! The Catawba County Cooperative Extension is pleased to announce our 2026 Spring Plant Sale. Whether you are looking to start a new fruit patch or expand your existing garden, we have a great selection of plants available for purchase.
Support a Great Cause! All proceeds from this sale benefit the Catawba County Cooperative Extension Youth Programming.
Available Plants
We are offering a variety of fruits and vegetables suited for our area:

Asparagus ($15/bundle of 10): Available in ‘UC157’ (Green) and ‘Purple Passion’ varieties.

Blackberries ($10): Choose from ‘Ponka’ (Early), ‘Ouachita’ (Mid), or the NCSU ‘Von’ (Late) variety.

Blueberries ($12): Varieties include ‘Brightwell’, ‘Powderblue’, and ‘Ochlockonee’. Note: It is recommended to plant 2+ varieties for cross-pollination.

Elderberries ($20): Sold as a pair (‘John’ & ‘Adams’) to guarantee cross-pollination.

Muscadines ($13): Native and disease-resistant varieties available in ‘Tara’ (Bronze), ‘Ison’ (Black), and ‘Noble’ (Black).

Raspberries ($10): ‘Dorma Red’ variety, excellent for jams and freezing.

Strawberries ($15/bundle of 25): Available in ‘Cardinal’ (June-bearing) or ‘Eversweet’ (Everbearing).
