  • Thank you all who helped set up, cook, bake, serve, and clean up at the Spring BBQ. It is a team effort and a job well done. CVCA Board
  • We encourage and welcome each of you to continue as members of the Catawba Valley Cattlemen’s Association. Please pay annual dues to Amanda Whitener. Membership list will be corrected based on dues paid thru April.
  • If you need Private Applicators License Renewal class, plan to attend our April 11 class from 12:30 till 2:30 p.m. for 2 hours of V credit. You are welcome to attend a class in the next hour (2:30–3:30) “Early Weed id and Control” for a 1-hour credit in either D, H, K, L, N, O, X.
  • These are the months to put out High Magnesium minerals. We encourage you to support your favorite farm supply store and buy some Hi-Mag Minerals. Southern States – Conover sponsored our meal last month and have a traditional Hi-Mag Beef Mineral for $15.49/bg and a Hi Mag (Fly-Stop) Mineral for $24.49.
  • Feeder Calf Grading Workshop. Thursday, April 4, 2019, @ 6:30 p.m. @ Turnersburg Sale Barn (Harward Brothers Livestock Market) BBQ sandwiches at 6:30 p.m. with workshop following immediately. RSVP to your local office to give them a heads up for the food preparation or call them directly at 704-322-9770 by Tuesday. If later, call 405-219-1902.
