Blueberry variety selection is based on local climate.

4-H Plant Sale  – Catawba County 4-H, the youth component of North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be conducting a Plant Sale during the month of February. Proceeds from the sale will be used to support 4-H activities for youth in Catawba County. A variety of small fruit plants and a few other items are available for order. Varieties include strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, muscadines, and asparagus.

You can complete the online order form or call the office at 828-465-8240 to request a paper form.

All orders must be prepaid and submitted to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Catawba County Center by March 1, 2022.

We will notify you of the plant’s arrival date at the Agricultural Resources Center in Newton for pick-up.
