Garden to Kitchen: Muscadines
Tuesday, Sept 22 3:30-5:30 p.m Agricultural Resources Center, Newton
Start in the demo garden learning about varieties of muscadines, growing and pruning at home. Then we will spend time in the kitchen learning to make muscadine jelly and learn some basics of making sweet spreads.
Registration: $5, includes a jar of jelly to make and take home.

Program Goal: The goal of the Family and Consumer Sciences program is to educate the public about the importance of making healthy choices to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and to promote safe food handling practices to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.
