The ServSafe Manager certification class covers contamination, hygiene, time and temperature control, food-borne illness, allergens, and cleaning and sanitizing.
A registration fee of $125 covers the 7th edition textbook, test answer sheet, and handouts.
This is a two-day training: March 14 & 21 from 9am to 2pm. Exam given on March 21. The class is held at the Agriculture Resource Center, 1175 S. Brady Ave., Newton NC. The minimum number of participants needed to hold the training is five; less than five will result in the cancellation of the training. Unless the class is canceled, there are no refunds. If anyone has participated in this training offered by Cooperative Extension in the past and needs to retest or re-certify, they can do so on March 21. The retesting fee is $60 and would need to be paid by March 1.
