Kickin’ Nutrition TV is an innovative video-based health, wellness, and nutrition program that will educate and empower youth in grades 4-7. The 6-week program will be from 4–5 p.m. on Wednesdays, starting June 25, 2020.
Kickin’ Nutrition TV is a nutrition and healthy, habits program for the digital age. The program includes smart comedy episodes, peer-taught nutrition instruction, and cooking demonstrations. Youth will follow the character of Reyna, an aspiring chef, and her friends as they face nutrition dilemmas as they learn nutrition concepts and facts. Each weekly lesson also includes a 3-5 activity to get youth moving, too.
Participating youth will joining other youth from the South Central district for the show viewing with a discussion led by different 4-H staff members from the region.
