Do you have a high school student with an interest in local government and civic engagement? We are now accepting application for 9th-11th grade students who would like to be considered for membership on the Catawba County Youth Council. Students do need to reside or attend school in Catawba County to qualify. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Monday evening with meetings mostly at the Ag Resources Center. Members are involved in hearing from different speakers associated with local government and local non-profit leaders and involved in volunteer projects. This year our focus will be on county government. For more info contact Youth Council Advisor Donna_Mull@ncsu.edu. Use the link to the online application to apply by October 1.Youth Council Flyer
