4-H Summer SPARK is sponsored by North Carolina Cooperative Extension and provides day classes and trips designed to spark new interest as youth explore and learn during the summer months. We hope classes will spark an interest that may lead your child to join a 4-H club to further explore a topic. That summer spark could even lead to a future career! Programs are taught and supervised by N.C. Cooperative Extension staff and 4-H & Community Volunteers. It is not necessary to be a current 4-H member to enroll in summer programs.
